    Is there a way to setup all the text in game to be accessible and adjustable so that community members can translate vs having to pay lots of money? Cheers!

    Will there be any form of "new game +" mode option whereby a player could keep all their recruited elite mercenaries etc. and begin a new game? This would essentially be an 'easy mode' but could be a nice reward for players who who take the time to have a completionist play-through.

    Appreciate all the comments on ironman/permadeath – I think we'll allow reloading for a certain extent on the city level. Probably something like an autosave every 1 in-game hour.

    Sounds like the game is ironman mode compatible, like all the best games.

    I agree that accepting your failures and the subsequent consequences definitely makes for an interesting game, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't try and cheese the save system when things go wrong (alt-f4/end task). 🙁

    Please make the inability to reload an option like Ironman mode or something, with work I don't have much time to play games so if I get 3 hours into a game and then have to start over because I ended up on a path I can't win from I'm just going to get very bitter about the game and never play it again because that time was wasted and if I did try again I could just be wasting more time.
    However it is dependent on how long a play through is, if you can win the game in just an hour or two like FTL then it's fine because you aren't losing a significant time investment and can get back to where you were quite quickly, but losing multiple hours of progress is just painful, and the chore of having to grind through all that again is just a horrible deterrent to ever try playing again.

    I like the permadeath idea, but it doesn't make sense that your leader wouldn't have a vatform of them selfs to send away on missions. [but you would have your real commander in a base defence.

    In regards to the Beta, I am personally very excited about how the new UI looks. I had a new idea concerning your boss unit. What if your allowed to upgrade his weapon choice, and one perk, based on avaliable tech and such. It would be so bad ass to have your boss be one of your best assets in a fight. I think that weaker units should be able to be upgraded with stealth tech later on in the game, to keep them competative. stealth could be read by the AI as a blob area that the unit may be in. while for players it would be like playing a dark mission. I also had a crazy idea, what if you had a later game tech that could be found for when your boss is killed, he is regrown like a vatform, you would lose massive amounts of time, land and money while you are busy being grown, but it could allow you to survive a boss death at a later date that would not be to critically game ruining if you spent many hours on a game, that you were so close to winning. I think that the idea of no saves is brillaint, but very cutting. Perhaps on easy mode you could begin that day over again, and you can ONLY restart the day. I think you need to have a "safe" style, for new players. While also having a "hardcore" for all the guys who know ad love the game for its edgyness. If you only have the hardcore mode you will cut your self out of a large portion of the market. Lots of people will feel like they have been thrown off the dep end if you do not have a safe mode, I know for me as a avid fs1 player, I was stunned by how complex fs1 was when I first got it. I can only imagine how deep these water could seem to a fresh player with no experiance in any game like this. I would really encourage you to add the flashbang (vision/stun) grenadier. I think it would be a great asset for breaching doors, as well as being a solid counter to stealth units. I will be waiting with bated breath on march 10th.

    This game looks amazing. That having been said, I have a few suggestions/questions:

    Is the log from the previous UI going to be available? I feel like it would be a huge mistake to get rid of it.

    I think that it is extremely important not to have units (pistol and uzi) that are in all ways inferior to others. It would be great to have pistols and uzis be able to pose as civilians if they behave like civilians so they will have a distinct advantage over other units while having inferior attack.

    I think an interesting way to integrate light and dark missions would be to have light missions in buildings you own or missions that are outside while missions in other faction's buildings would be dark.

    Boss battles with faction leaders would be interesting.

    Finally, I feel very passionately about the running animations being played quickly when the units are dragged. This is one of the most important features in the game. I cannot tell if they are in the video but if they aren't, please put it into the final game to fill the empty void in my soul.

    will there be the old FS1dark exterminaton multiplayer mode?
    and will it have all the units? like uzi, pistol, knife, smoke…

    will there be new multiplayer match modes?
    i would love to see one where each player has the CEO in his team and has to protect him whilst trying to kill the other.

    will i be able to name my mercs like in x-com?

    Two questions:

    1: Will we be able to make videos and or stream the closed beta? I'd love to be able to stream the game!

    2: Will there be any new music that's not on soundcloud? Or will there be finished versions of the tracks currently on soundcloud in the beta?

    Gj on the interface! It looks quite better.
    I've been wondering about the smoke grenade, and I believe it can cause some weird interactions. Let's suppose Green have 1 machinegun plus 1 smoker, and red have 1 rpg plus 1 smoker. If the rpg unit kills the machinegun and is killed by it in the same turn. Both teams would end with smokers only. Since smokers can't cause damage would the players need to prime until the game ends in a draw? This would feel quite weird. Maybe the game should draw instantly, or an even more exciting solution would be to give a crappy secondary weapon to smokers.
    About uzi: You said Uzi can't really beat machinegun. Is its movement speed higher at least? I believe it has to have a reason to be on our squads. Otherwise we would have no reason to hire a uzi mercenary.
    About oneturns: Let's suppose there's a oneturn that I've made and is having a lot of success thus I'm particularly proud of it. It would be cool if I could send a challenge to my friend list so my friends can compete against each other by doing the other side of it. Then after people complete the challenge they would have access to a scoreboard table sorted by score to check the performance of every one of the challenged people.

    The UI is much better than before! Maybe try displaying only the icon and faction short of the enemy strike teams and only show the individual names when hovering over their icons. That would decrease the amount of text on the screen and could make the game a bit clearer and cleaner. Would you also consider making a video on the generation algorithm for the city and it's road network?

    Fresh video yay o/ | Reworked UI definately feels a lot cleaner. Buttons on the lower screen could be slightly bigger – they don't really stand out now. Might be better when icons are in place, tho. | No in-mission save/load would be fine. Failing a mission is a setback, yes, but it won't screw up storyline or anything(unless it was defending your HQ) and would come with (mostly)interesting consequences. | You could go with uncontrolled autosave on the city level too, but then you might want to reconsider allowing Faction Leader to be killed. It could ruin some saves.
